THE PROJECT

A car accident leaves a small town beauty queen hideously ugly, but through an illegal stem cell research procedure, a gorgeous new face is grown.  She can only wear the face for twelve hours before having to place it in a jar of chemical solution, flinging her back into the life as a rejected, unwanted freak.   The face brings celebrity, but the costs are great: the face’s side effects create a split personality, and a killing spree ensues as she careens out of control.


By 2015, 17 percent of US residents will be undergoing cosmetic surgery, totaling 55 million procedures.  This does not include tattooing, piercing, self mutilation and other forms of body art.  The quest for self-transformation has created radical new standards of beauty.
